ConsultNet provide a computer remote control service by troubleshooting your computer problems over the Internet improving service, minimising downtime, and resolving problems quickly.

This service is offered to home users, or business user’s enabling us to directly access and control your computer to correct software problems, update drivers, install software and troubleshoot your system within a few minutes of your call which saves you downtime.

This service is priced @ £35 + Vat between 09:00am and 17:30pm with a minimum support period of 30 minutes.

Business Support Services

ConsultNet are able offer ongoing package to provide support in the event of a failure of your IT systems. We aim to achieve a guaranteed next working day service but endeavour to better this at all times.

We find that many IT problems can be resolved with some simple telephone advice. If the problem cannot be solved in this way, we will use PC Anywhere or Netop remote control software over Broadband connections. This will require remote control software installed on all the computers. If the problem cannot be resolved using remote control, we will then arrange a site visit at the earliest opportunity.

The support will cover an engineer’s time to resolve any software or operating system problems with an agreed list of applications. Under the agreement, we will also investigate and resolve hardware failures either by returning the faulty components under warranty or through the purchase of replacement components where the warranty has expired. The agreement will not cover the cost of replacement components. A one off set up cost will provide the remote administration service that complements the service.

Our support costs do vary between clients depending on the equipment and the approach of the users. To avoid penalising clients who do not place heavy support demands we review our support costs quarterly and in consultation with our clients adjust them if appropriate.

The agreement will provide the necessary insurance and peace of mind that they can call on ConsultNet during a working week to maintain and administer their IT systems without impediment. ConsultNet will endeavour to attend the next working day to assist in your needs, the agreement does not include the cost to replace equipment but ConsultNet will endeavour to provide service effectively for the business.

The agreement will be reviewed every quarter to ascertain how cost effective the service is that is being offered and whether the agreement needs to be re-evaluated for ConsultNet or your business needs.

ConsultNet can also configure and provide a server redundancy package for peace of mind for your business. The redundant server is configured to your working environment with your current data.

In an event of a server failure ConsultNet can provide a loan server for the duration of the problem with your configured environment and latest restored data. This solution also lends it self when disruptive work is required on the server.

ConsultNet can offer a remote network, telephone and remote diagnostics support package that provides a scaled response to IT problems and queries. We also offer a managed service and regular pro-active network monitoring. This provides for cost-effective management of your resources and ensures the implementation of best working practices without the need for a full time IT specialist on-site.

Remote Diagnostics – Remotely diagnose faults, removing the need for on-site visits, so reducing costs and time to correction.

Pro-active Monitoring - software tools to monitor key network system parameters. It looks for likely signs of impending problems and notifies ConsultNet automatically for immediate attention.
